Autumn Chamber Music Festival. French Chamber Music

Dita Krenberga, Ints Dālderis and Agnese Egliņa – confirmed peers in music – have prepared a new chamber music programme in which French and Latvian music meet. French masters will be represented by the Divertissement of the smart Jean Francaix, Tarantella by the elegant Camille Saint-Saëns, and the variation of the blackbird’s song by Olivier Messiaen, the hunter of bird songs. Latvian music masters will be represented by the winner of the competition organised by Pēteris Vasks Foundation, Laura Gustovska, with her composition “Silk”, the French-thinking old master of exile Latvians, Tālivaldis Ķeniņš, with Mozart-like variations of the theme of the magic clarinet, and Juris Karlsons, on his turn, will intrigue the public offering his new work “Signs”.
